Worldwide World-flight!

Since we started the idea of World-flight back in 1999 other team from around the world have set up their own events following our ideas. We are so pleased that our little idea has grown so much over the years and that the team have been able to raise so much money for charity by having fun. Flight simulator building is becoming a very popular hobby. Here are some of the other teams from around the world.

Down under
The first team to join up with us was Matt Sheil's team from Sydney Austria . Matt has built a Boeing 747-400 and his team raise money for the Royal Flying Doctors Service. To date they have raised over $50,000. During they first year they flow along side us, and in 2002 moved off to do things their way. During the 2006 event we plan to meet up down under and fly together to San diego.

Scotland
The Scottish team joined up with the ozzies in 2004. They have an Airbus A300 and are raising money for ORBIS flying eye hospital. Their simulator is based in Glasgow, and is owed by Steven Masson.

United Kingdom
Another team in the UK has started up. John Davis and his 747 flight simulator will be raising money for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire air ambulance. John started to plan his 747-400 simulator in 1999 and started construction in 2002. We welcome another team from out home land and hope John and his team have as much fun as we do.

We do not have any information about the remaining teams to add at this time. The Canadian teams website just shows a logo, the team from the USA have not advised us of their URL and the team from Ireland, their website is down at the moment. We will endeavour to bring you the latest information as we get it. But for now the above teams will be taking part in the 2006 event.
